We carry out repairs for ALL Insurance companies.

ABOUT US

M-Only was set up to meet the demand for quality "Mercedes Servicing" at a fair price. In May 2004 Daimler-Chrysler, the parent company of Mercedes Benz, removed any requirement to Service your car at a dealership to retain your warranty (see enclosed Office of Fair Trading Letter).

At M-Only, we are Registered with Mercedes Benz for Full Technical Support. Cars are Serviced and Repaired by Dealership trained Technicians using only genuine original Mercedes Benz parts and Mobil-1-oil.

The major difference between us and any other dealership is that we charge £60 an hour, whilst other dealerships have much higher rates.

How do we keep your Car Secure?
At M-Only, your car is always monitored by CCTV. In addition, all cars are secured overnight inside the workshop under Redcare/GSM Security Alarm monitored by ADT, which is connected to the Police Station.
How do we keep your Servicing Costs so low?
The costs of our business are minimised by locating our Workshop in a Business Park where the Rent and Rates are much lower than on main roads. These lowered costs allows us to pass on these savings to our customers. At M-Only we leave emulated "Budget Airlines" with a no frills approach to Servicing.
However, we do not compromise on the quality of Service despite the low price.
Can I wait with my car while it is serviced?
Our Workshop is designed with a large viewing window overlooking the Workshop. This allows you to see your car while it is being serviced. The reception room has a television and coffee is available to make your viewing comfortable.
In addition, it allows you to discuss matters with Technicians.
How long will my service take?
We normally service cars on the same day. In the event of additional work being needed, the car can be brought back or stored overnight inside the workshop.
How long is the warranty we give?
We provide the same warranty as Mercedes Benz Dealerships on parts.
Does M-Only have all the Computers and Equipment?
At M-Only, we have leased our Computer Systems from Mercedes Benz UK. This provides us with all the call backs and updates supplied to dealerships.

Insurance Process

At M-Only we have computerised alignment systems, high specification jigs & the correct specialist systems in place to produce the best complete repair to your car.

 

Your car will look as good as new!

 

Providing Insurers with Mercedes approved methods & systems avoids delays or uncertainty, which then leads to a swift conclusion.

Your insurance will normally cover for a courtesy car. In the event that it doesn't, we will always offer you a loan car.

You have a legal right to choose who repairs your car.

 

Frequently asked Questions

 

Can I repair my car at any garage or do I have to go to one that my insurers insist on?
You have the legal right to repair your car at any garage. Insurance companies tend to steer you to one of their favoured workshops in order to control costs. This inevitably forces these workshops to use inferior products & methods.
At M-Only, you can be assured of the highest specification of work at a fair price for all.
Do you guarantee work undertaken to my vehicle?
Yes, for a minimum period of 24 months, or the remainder of your manufacturers warranty on your Mercedes Benz vehicle.
Why can delays arise during repairs?
The insurance company engineer may need to inspect the vehicle. Additional parts may be identified during the course of repairs beyond the original estimate.
What payments am I responsible for before my car is returned?
The payments would involve the excess contributions (on occasions the insurance company may charge for the replacement of worn items e.g. tyres, exhausts, etc.), VAT if you are registered, damage to courtesy car (if applicable), additional private work as requested, any costs under the Road Traffic Acts (e.g. fines).
What happens if the insurance company does not approve all items of repair?
We are only able to undertake the work approved by the insurance company's engineer and other repairs would need to be subject to private invoice. If you are unhappy with the engineer's decision it is important that you contact your insurance company immediately.
Can I choose when I have my car delivered?
We will try to provide an indication of morning or afternoon delivery. The courtesy car must be available to us at all times.
Who is responsible for damage to cars provided by M-Only?
Your own insurance policy is used for the courtesy car and you are responsible for any excess payments.
Is there any charge for the courtesy car?
No, the vehicle is subject to a pre-delivery inspection but you must check oil, water, lights and tyres daily.
Can I use the courtesy car for holidays, courses or extended travel?
No, unless it is agreed that the duration of repair would be for a period beyond your expected return date
